As we enter a new era of maps in 7.1 thanks to the figmental weapon coffer, as a longtime map party leader, this is my plea to you: READ THE FUCKING PARTY FINDER.
I love Ophiotauroskin maps. They are my very favourite map. I was trying to run them still in 7.0, but I didn’t get a lot of biters. Now, thanks to crossworld map parties and people raising money to buy more Br’aaxskins, I can run Ophios on weekends at primetime!
… After I have to relist the party four times because people keep not reading my listing!
Here is my standard Ophio listing:
You see Ophio – a Greek name? Like in Elpis? You see The Twelve Wonders as a meeting point, an aetheryte in Elpis? Why are you joining a party with this listing and then going “oh, sorry, is this the Dawntrail maps” when people start sending Elpis map links? Does this listing look the same to you?
Br’aaxskin. Worlar’s Echo. These words do not look like Ophiotauroskin or The Twelve Wonders.
And I do run Br’aaxskins regularly as well. I want those weapons as much as anyone else! But please read the fucking party finder instead of seeing the map icon and letting your monkey brain take over. I wouldn’t care if it was a mistake that happened once every few weeks, but as I said, I have to relist my Ophio parties multiple times every single time I run them because people keep not reading. It’s not the end of the world, because the party runs in the end, but this does not need to happen to begin with.
